Teams will be allocated during a recorded draw on Sat 2nd Feb then communicated shortly after so you will have plenty of time to practice with your respective team.

Welcome to the Cannock FIFA Cup Blog

 

The inaugural annual Cannock FIFA Cup - Saturday May 11th 2013 @ 8pm

To be held at Cannock Cinema in screen 3, which is available for private hire (£120). Entrance fee of £10 will cover room hire cost and purchase of winner's trophy and can be paid on the day.

If this proves to be a success then it will become an annual event and we may look to include a prize fund in future.

RULES:

1. Straight one-game knockout rounds made up of 16 entrants.
2. Classic Extra time, then penalties to be used in the event of a draw after 90 mins.
3. A pool made up of sixteen 3.5 - 4.5 star teams will be drawn up and allocated to each player during a recorded 'draw' (video to be posted online).
4. First round opponents will be randomised by the game itself.
5. No handballs
6. Games to be 4 minutes each half.
7. To be played on a ps3
8. Winner of the final will be presented with a trophy shield that will be later engraved with their name and they will keep for one year until next tournament is held.
